What is the turn around time for plating?
We aim to turn all jobs around within 5 to 7 working days of receipt of the order.
Do you offer plating services for small automotive, agricultural, and machinery components?
Yes, we can plate tractor/car parts.
How much does it cost to plate a small number of tractor parts?
This will depend on the parts, what size they are and how we will need to work them. If you call our office or send us an email with photos/drawings we will be able to advise you of a price.
Will parts be stripped of rust and paint before the finishing process, or does this need to be done beforehand?
No, we do not remove rust/clean parts before plating. If there is paint on the parts, this will need to be removed before plating. If the rust is heavy, we would advise removing with a wire brush or blasting before sending them to be plated.
How can I arrange delivery or collection of parts for processing?
You will need to deliver them to us yourself or have them couriered to us.
Do you offer return delivery services, or is collection required?
You will need to make arrangements for collection of the parts either by yourself or a courier as we do not arrange collections with couriers.
Do you accept card payments?
No, we do not have a card payment facility.
What payment methods do you accept for your services?
Payment can be made by either bank transfer or cheque on collection of the parts.
Is advance payment required before work begins?
No, prepayment is not required.
Do you provide chrome plating as part of your finishing services?
At this time, we do not offer Chrome Plating as one of our finishing options. However, we provide a range of other high-quality finishing solutions and would be happy to help you find the best option for your project.
Can parts be collected by courier and shipped back once completed?
No, we do not arrange collections with couriers.
If I send parts in a box or bucket, is there a weight limit per load or charge?
No, there is no weight limit on parts you send to us.
Do I need to have an account to have work carried out?
No, you do not need to have an account to have work done.
Do you close for lunch during the day?
We are open Monday to Friday and do not close for lunch.
If I’m arranging a courier to drop/collect the parts, do you have set delivery/collection times?
No, we accept deliveries and ship out parts with couriers throughout the day.
